For several years, he has been inspiring the farming community in Madimbo and surrounding villages to adopt new agricultural technologies that he often showcases. Crop breeding largely deals with the creation, selection, and fixation of superior phenotypes for the development of improved lines or cultivars to fulfill the needs of farmers and consumers both locally and globally. However, for a long time, grain quality breeding was not a major focus of crop breeders, rather increasing yield per unit area.
